Choosing your exam location

When booking exams, candidates will be asked to select their preferred exam centre location(s) immediately after their exam booking and payment is confirmed.

Completing an exam location preference form

There will be a link to an exam location preference form included in candidates’ exam booking confirmation email.

If candidates book and pay for their exams on the member portal, they can also access the exam location preference form from the member portal exam booking confirmation page.

  • Candidates can select up to three preferences of exam location, including remote invigilation. Please do not select one exam location multiple times.
  • A full list of exam centre locations can be found on the following web pages:
  • Once candidates have selected the country where they wish to sit their exams, they will be able to select exam centre locations from a dropdown list.
  • If there are no suitable exam centre locations, candidates can also request to sit under remote invigilation.
  • The preferences candidates select will be applied to all exams they have booked for April 2026. This means they only need to complete the form once.
  • If, for any reason, candidates do not want us to apply their selected preferences to all of their exams, they will have the opportunity to notify us using the form.
  • The email address entered on the from must match your preferred email address on your member portal.

All exam location preference forms should be submitted before the final submission deadline at 09:00 BST (UTC+1) Monday 27 July

If candidates do not submit their preferences by this deadline, we will allocate an exam centre based on the preferred communication address we hold for them.

Candidates will receive a copy of their completed exam location request form by email when they submit their form.

Changing exam location preferences

If candidates need to change their preferences after submitting their form, they can complete and submit a new form. â¶Ä¯&²Ô²ú²õ±è;

Re-submissions must also be submitted before the final submission deadline at 09:00 BST (UTC+1) Monday 27 July

Allocating exam location

Exam centre capacities are limited by location and will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. To increase the likelihood of receiving their preference, candidates should book as early as possible in the exam booking period. â¶Ä¯&²Ô²ú²õ±è;

We will allocate candidates to one of their three preferred options where-ever possible.

If we are unable to allocate candidates to one of their three preferred exam centres, we will allocate them to the next nearest location in the same country or to remote invigilation.

We will inform candidates of their allocated exam location no later than the week commencing 3 August 2026.

Exam location change requests

In the unlikely event that we are unable to offer a candidate any of their three exam location preferences, they will be able to request to change the exam location that we have allocated to them.

We will share a link to a change request form in their exam location allocation email if a candidate is eligible.
